Wildwych Wildwych Scarlet O'Haira is about as old fashioned and typical a pony as you'll find, both in person and by pedigree. She's stout, massive, and with tremendous bone and large, well-defined joints.

She also has the distinction of being the first Flurry/Joy filly and only the second filly of Joy's breeding career.

Scarlet has a personality to match her body: serene and generous. Like her mom, not much fazes Scarlet; it's as if she placidly views the world through rose-colored glasses.

The first time I picked up her feet, she did so with no halter on, and let me hold them as long as I liked.

Scarlet is also an attention hog--when I'm out with the youngsters, she won't allow any of the others near me. She wants all of the scratches for herself. Delightfully, while she's dominant with the other foals, she isn't pushy with humans or other animals.
